Job summary
It is necessary to have a Class A commercial driver's license Tanker Endorsement preferred. Candidates must have a clean driving record and pass a drug and alcohol test to be considered. Great truck drivers are continuously on the lookout for problems, no matter how little they appear to be. They must ensure that their skills and expertise are always up to date. This assures that when something goes wrong, they can fix it themselves. A Truck Driver frequently works alone, rarely engaging with others on their delivery routes. However, they may occasionally work alongside refinery and plant workers, who load and offload product from trucks driven by Red Ball Transport drivers.

- Local and Long-distance driving
- Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers
- Obeying and following applicable traffic laws
- Securing product and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle
- Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving
- Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
- Complying with truck driving rules and regulations
- Reporting defects, accidents and violations
- Performing daily maintenance of truck (refueling, cleaning, etc.)
- Interacting with customers in a professional manner
- Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspection reports
- Loading and Offloading
- Recording product deliveries
- Verifying loads for accuracy
Job summary
Candidates for Office Clerk should have a high school diploma or GED. To prevent wasting time, they organize ahead of time to synchronize schedules and speed up workflows.
